BPM Athlete Management (“BAM”) is pleased to announce the signing of a new sponsorship agreement with SRAM/Zipp/Quarq (“SRAM”) for talented Australian triathlete, Joshua Amberger. The sponsorship deal has been signed alongside several new sponsorship agreements including his recent signing with Felt Bicycles.
In 2013 Amberger will have his Felt Bikes fitted with the very latest in quality components from SRAM, Zipp and Quarq. All bikes for training and racing will feature 2013 SRAM RED components along with Zipp wheels including Firecrest 404’s, 808’s and of course the Sub 9 disc for racing. He will also have the benefit of training and racing with the latest in power technology with the support of Quarq Power on his SRAM Red crank sets. Zipp will also supply Amberger with stems, seat posts, bars and other where required.
The pairing of a rising triathlon talent with one of the world’s leading bike component manufacturers will prove to be a strong combination with SRAM supporting some of the greatest cyclists and triathletes of all time with their leading edge equipment. Amberger will be in good company with SRAM having long term relationships with some of Australia’s and the world’s greatest triathletes including ironman world champions Chris McCormack and Pete Jacobs.
“I’ve been using Sram and Zipp inventory for years, and like most people I’ve got a lot faith in both of these brands. With Quarq also providing a crucial power platform for my training, I can look forward to racing with the best equipment in the industry. To be working with all three of these brands on a professional level gives me an advantage over my competition, and a confidence that precedes success,” said Amberger from his training base as he prepares for the 2013 season.
