Australian Nikki Butterfield has announced her return to triathlon racing in emphatic style taking out the Ironman 70.3 Syracuse race. In the men’s race, won by 2010 world duathlon champion Bart Aernouts, Paul Ambrose and Josh Rix also got on the podium in the with Stephen Hackett taking out 4th in the men’s race and Madeleine Oldfield finishing 9th in the women’s race.
