Sunday 30th of January 2011 will see 2010 Ironman World Champion, Chris “Macca” McCormack co-host the Sydney edition of  the training series. He will be joined by the man that posted the fastest run split in 2010 at Kona, Pete Jacobs.

BPM-Sport.com’s Nicole Gallagher said “In January 2010, we joined forces with Macca and PJ for a very successful training camp in Huskisson NSW. We received a great deal of requests to have both of these guys back to share their knowledge, inside tips and of course plenty of laughs this coming summer. We are extremely excited to welcome both these incredible athletes back to co-host this day camp on January 30th in Sydney.”

The day camp will be held in Sydney and will give age group triathletes the opportunity to train with Macca and PJ whilst under the guidance of Triathlon Australia certified coaching staff. This will be a jam packed day of training, questions & answer sessions as well as some enjoyable periods listening to some of the inside stories from both pro’s. Athletes will receive tips and advice on all facets of triathlon to help them achieve better performances in 2010.

We all have a fantastic time and it is always wonderful for guys like Pete and I to give back to the people that support us with some inside tips and advice. I love training in Sydney in summer and it will be epic to have a day where I can share the experience with a keen group of age group triathletes.”

For Jacobs, he will also be back into full training as he prepares to build on yet another great year including his highlight of posting the third fastest run splits of all time at Kona in October. He told us “My less is more training approach, coupled with my passion to help others improve and enjoy the sport have been a key reasons for my successes. I had a fantastic time in 2010 at the BPM-Sport.com training camps and I’m looking forward to working with Macca once again. The guy is always inspiring others and I look forward to the two of us continuing to do that for attendees at this camp in January.”

Australia Day, 26th of January 2011 will see 13 times Ironman Champion and Ironman Australia Hall of Fame inductee, Belinda Granger host the Charity edition the training series in beautiful Noosa. Belinda will be joined by her husband and coach Justin Granger as well as ITU athlete Annabel Luxford, America’s Tim O’Donnell and 2010 Ironman World Champion Mirinda Carfrae who will fly in from the USA the day before the camp so she can help out!

BPM-Sport.com’s Nicole Gallagher said “As part of our Australian Summer Series Training Camps this summer we were eager to hold an event that would give back. When I mentioned the idea to Belinda and Justin Granger they didn’t hesitate in offering to help host the camp.”

The day camp will be held in Noosa and will give age group triathletes the opportunity to train with the pro’s whilst under the guidance of Triathlon Australia certified coaching staff. For ITU pro Luxford this was an event she was eager to be involved in “I enjoyed spending time with the BPM-Sport.com team during their Phuket Training camp with Rinny in November, so when they mentioned the idea of the charity focused training day in Noosa I was eager to help out. It is always rewarding helping out passionate age group triathletes and to do it for a charitable cause is like icing in the cake for me.”

The Day Camp Will Consist of: Swim, Bike and a run technique sessions with the pros. Other activities will include but not be limited to: Transition tips; Open Q&A session; Lunch; Nutrition; Stretch & Core Session; and the BPM-Sport.com Camp Awards Session!
