Greg Welch will be recognised as one of Australia’s sporting legends on October 13 in Melbourne at the port Australia Hall of Fame’s 27th Annual Induction & Awards Gala Dinner. This is a deserving recognition of one of our sport’s legends. Greg has won numerous world championships and was the first Australian to win the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.

27th Annual Induction & Awards Gala Dinner details

Thursday October 13th 2011 will see the Who’s Who of Australia sport converge on the Palladium at Crown for the Sport Australia Hall of Fame’s 27th Annual Induction & Awards Gala Dinner. The night promises to be a most memorable one with the induction of seven of Australia’s sporting greats.

And the elevation of one Member to Legend Status.

We also honour the legacy of Sir Donald Bradman with ‘The Don Award’. Presented to the athlete who has, through his or her example in sport, most inspired the nation.
