Feeling up for a challenge? Ironman has got you covered!

In 2023, they're launching a series of combo challenges across North American Ironman 70.3 and Ironman triathlons. That's right, if you're brave enough to complete both an Ironman 70.3 race and a full-distance Ironman race in the same calendar year, you'll be eligible for some sweet rewards.

These challenges will pair two destination races with a theme tailored to the unique characteristics or geography of each event. And don't worry, you won't have to carry around a heavy medal all day - you'll be able to choose between a medal or a gift to be awarded at the finish line of a full-distance Ironman race.

So, whether you're looking to PR or just need a tune-up race before tackling a full Ironman, these challenges are the perfect way to train and succeed. Go ahead, embrace the challenge and crush your goals in 2023.

  • Ironman 70.3 Victoria, North American TriClub Championship – West – May 28, 2023

URBAN TO ICONIC CHALLENGE

GERRY BOYLE CRABBY CHALLENGE

*Challenge named in honor of the late and great Gerry Boyle. Gerry was the Ironman 70.3 Eagleman and Ironman Maryland Race Director and played an integral part in bringing the latter event to fruition in 2014. For more than 20 years, Gerry dedicated much of his life to supporting the thousands of athletes who descended upon Cambridge each year.
