The ever popular Elite Energy triseries kicks off this weekend at the popular Huskisson Village in Jervis Bay. Home to the Pearl iZumi Huskisson Long Course, the town of Huskisson is a favourite amongst NSW triathletes when in February each year around 4000 athletes descend on the area for arguably their favourite triathlon festival weekend of the year.
This year’s season opening triseries round will be as popular as ever with the junior series, enticer, sprint and Olympic distance events being staged. This year also includes the NSW Junior and elite draft legal race.
The Huskisson round of the triseries is the first of seven rounds with Callala, Nowra, Orange, Wollongong, Wagga Wagga and the season ending Port Stephens rounds to follow.
Points gained at each round go towards the overall series age group titles that are announced on the Saturday evening after the final round at Port Stephens.
There is still time to enter for this weekend and make your way down to Huskisson for a short break and to set a benchmark for the rest of the season.
