The Big Picture: The USA Triathlon honored ten individuals who have made a significant impact in the multisport community with their dedication and passion for the sport. The Coach of the Year, Heart of the Race Director, and Service to the Sport Awards were presented at the annual Endurance Exchange conference held in Austin, Texas.

Context: The awards recognise and celebrate excellence in the USA Triathlon community and reward individuals who have gone above and beyond in their service to the sport. The winners were selected from a pool of nominations from the multisport community.

Noteworthy: Mike Reilly was honored with the inaugural Service to the Sport Award for his 33-year career as the Ironman race announcer. Gabriella Gallegos was awarded the Innovation Award for her work in broadcasting the all-female Mighty Mujer Triathlon. Julie Marchese was awarded the Inclusivity Award for her efforts in creating an all-women's triathlon event. Michael O’Neil was honored with the Collaboration Award for his partnership with local organisations and sponsors to provide free swim lessons to nearly 1,000 kids in Boston.
