Luke Bell has a solid lead with Patrick Evoe now in second place overall. Monty Frankish is holding strongly in his first ever Ironman with 40-44 year old David Meade now in 4th overall.

Matty Harris was still working the crowd.

Rebecca Hoschke came through 90kms to claim the $1000 bike prime with a huge smile on her face and was high fiving the crowd as she headed back out on the bike. In second place was Kiwi Tamsyn Hayes with Ange Castle in third. Nicole Ward was sitting strongly.
