Ironman Commemorates 45 Years with Global Sweepstakes

Ironman, the iconic triathlon brand, is marking its 45th anniversary with a week-long celebration filled with daily prizes and a grand prize giveaway.

The big picture: The 45-Year Milestone Ironman is celebrating 45 years since the first triathlon event, which took place on the Island of O’ahu, Hawai`i in 1978. The anniversary is a testament to the brand's endurance and the passion of its athletes.

Context: In celebration of this milestone anniversary, Ironman will be randomly selecting 45 daily prize winners from 13-17 February, with one grand prize winner being selected on 18 February. Athletes registered for any 2023 Ironman, Ironman 70.3, or 5150 event will be automatically entered to win.
