Pete Jacobs and Tim Reed swam and rode together at Huskisson Long Course Triathlon in 2014 and at approximately 7km on the run Jacobs made his move. Reed hung on until the 10km mark when a short hill gave Jacobs the opportunity to surge and get the gap he wanted.
