American Bicycle Group (ABG), manufacturer of award-winning high performance bicycles – Quintana Roo (QR, Quintanarootri.com) and Litespeed (LS, litespeed.com) – this week announced that ABG has joined forces with Siri Lindley and Team Sirius Tri Club, a mobile and web-based membership training/coaching community, to become the team’s official bike partner. The agreement between Team Sirius and ABG is for two years.
To celebrate the Team Sirius/ABG partnership, Team Sirius is offering new members a 50 percent discount on the first year of team membership. To participate, you must be a first-time member, sign-up through the team website and enter code QR50ST. You must sign-up before Friday, February 16 to receive the offer.
Team Sirius Triathlon Club founders Siri Lindley and Rebekah Keat started Team Sirius Tri Club in 2017. Within three months of launching the team was ranked No.1 in the IRONMAN points rankings and No.2 in the world. Lindley, an ITU World Champion, two-time ITU World Cup champion, ITU Aquathon World Champion, and USA Triathlon Hall of Famer, and Rebekah Keat, a five-time Iron Distance Champion, 6thfastest Iron distance time in history, and a previous World No.1 ranking, have assembled an international group of assistant coaches who have competed at the highest levels, and bring the experience and education to help all levels of triathletes reach their competition goals.
“It’s a pleasure to be part of a group like Team Sirius,” said ABG CEO Peter Hurley. “Siri herself has coached IRONMAN champions and Olympic medalists, and when you see her team of assistant coaches, this is what a triathlon dream team is made of. We want our bikes to be part of the coaching and competitive dreams of the triathletes of Team Sirius.”
Members of the Team Sirius Triathlon Club receive weekly live chats with Lindley and Keat, sponsor discounts, early bird IRONMAN entries and VIP service, and access to the team’s iOS and Android mobile apps. They also have access to discounted training plans, exclusive training sessions online and training plans right up to completely individualized one-on-one personal coaching. A portion of all Team income goes to Believe Ranch and Rescue, a nonprofit run by Lindley and Keat that rescues horses from slaughter and dogs from euthanasia.
“Thank you so much ABG for this incredible opportunity,” said Lindley of the new partnership. “Bek and I are both so very grateful to be able to team up with one of my previous loyal sponsors. We are really excited to be able to have such great support for all of our athletes and we are looking forward to a long future with QR and Litespeed!”
