As you may have already heard, Toyota Australia is now the official vehicle partner of the Elite Energy NSW Triseries events. The move to become more involved in triathlon follows Toyota’s long-term sponsorship of three-time Ironman World Champion Craig ‘Crowie’ Alexander.
Since 2009, Toyota has been impressed by Crowie’s tenacity, perseverance and desire to continuously improve his performance. This desire to improve was key to his 2011 Ironman World Championship crown and is something that he shares with Toyota. Toyota believes there’s nothing so good that it can’t be made better and uses the Japanese word ‘Kaizen’ to describe the process.
Crowie and triathletes in general epitomise Kaizen, making every second count whether it’s in their training, during a race or in their personal lives. This mutual philosophy is why Toyota sponsors top athletes like Craig, as well as the Elite Energy Triseries events.
Stay tuned for more from Toyota over the coming months and watch out for them at the Tri Nowra Triathlon Festival on 22 January 2012.
