Triathlon NSW has announced that after five years as the naming rights sponsor for the Triathlon NSW Sprint Series and Women’s Triathlon Festival, Trishave is moving to a new level of involvement with the sport.
In a Joint Statement Trishave’s founder Larisa Alexander said she is continuing involvement with TriNSW events as the “transition sponsor” as well as extending her involvement with the sport into new territories and support Triathlon events across NSW.
“It’s been an absolute privilege to kick off TriShave’s involvement in the sport as a naming rights sponsor of the TriNSW events with its vibrant & inspiring community. I am grateful for the generous support of the brand by the triathletes and the great work of everyone on TriNSW team. The new vision and plans that Phil Dally and his team are putting into place will be exciting for the athletes and for all the sponsors who will come on board in this coming season and beyond … including an irritation-free, smooth TriShave Transition sponsorship”, Larisa said .
Triathlon NSW General Manager, Phil Dally, said “Triathlon NSW is very grateful to TriShave for the support the company gave over the past 5 years and welcomes the continuation of the relationship. The naming rights support came at a time when the organisation was very under resourced and the passion and additional resources that Larisa brought to the Tri NSW events certainly added significantly to the success of the events. It was not a traditional sponsorship it was definitely a partnership.”
Far from reducing Trishave’s involvement in the sport TriShave will be increasing their involvement reaching an agreement with Elite Energy for the naming rights of the 2012/2013 TriSeries Sprint Triathlons.
Mark Emerton, Managing Director of Elite Energy has welcomed the new partnership with TriShave. “TriShave have been involved with our events at various levels of sponsorship over the last six years and to have this new series naming partnership is an exciting new phase of our relationship “.
The seven race series will be known as the TriShave Sprint Tri Series. The series covers a large area of NSW with races held in Huskisson, Wagga Wagga, Callala, Nowra, Orange, Wollongong and Port Stephens and brings quality triathlon events to more people across the state.
