Get ready for Xterra Oman on March 2, 2024, the thrilling second leg of the 2024 Xterra EMEA Tour. With its rugged mountains and clear turquoise waters, Musandam offers a unique backdrop for a mix of grueling off-road triathlon and trail running events. At the heart of the action is the Full Distance Triathlon, offering 28 spots for the Xterra World Championship in Trentino, Italy, this September. The event also features 21K and 10K trail runs and kid-friendly races, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
The Course: A Tough but Beautiful Challenge
Athletes will tackle a 1.5K swim starting from a ferry, facing varying water conditions. The 30K bike segment promises a challenging mix of terrains, with climbs and descents through Musandam's iconic rock landscapes. The race concludes with a fast 10K run under sunny skies, challenging competitors to maintain pace to the end.
