We are hearing some exciting news out of Canada. It is rumoured that there will be an announcement tomorrow (Friday local time) from Ironman CEO Andrew Messick. He is in Mont Tremblant along with Quebec Prime Minister / Premier Pauline Marois. This is the site for the North American Ironman Champion

It is rumoured that there will be an announcement tomorrow (Friday local time) from Ironman CEO Andrew Messick. He is in Mont Tremblant along with Quebec Prime Minister / Premier Pauline Marois. This is the site for the North American Ironman Championships.
There is an indication that this will probably be the site for 2014 Ironman 70.3 World Championships.
There has been a lot of investment in the area with regards to triathlon. The provincial government put millions into repaving the roads for the Ironman events and will be looking to make the most of their investments.
We believe a bid for the 70.3 World Champs was put in.
