In the female division, defending Series champion Madeleine Oldfield stormed down the finish straight 10m ahead of NSW rival Melissa Vandewater.
Strong finishes also came from ex-AFL footballer turned triathlete Tim Clarke, and three-times Series winner Kristian McCartney, in the pristine and comfortable racing conditions.

Last weekend saw St Kilda come alive with colour and excitement! With a large number of first timers coming into the Gatorade Series and the Active Feet Fun Tri Series, highlighting it as one of the fastest growing sports in Australia. The excitement and anticipation from these competitors and supporters added greatly to the event atmosphere. Familiar faces were also spotted in the crowd, having competed in our races over the years with the likes of Pete Battrick (25 years) and Josh Rix (17 years)!
