The Event: The Urban Hotel Group Ironman 70.3
Half the distance, half the pain on the same great course as Cairns Airport Ironman Cairns! The 70.3 Cairns will replace the previous Cairns Half event and will be held on Sunday 3 June 2012 as part of the 2nd annual Cairns Airport Adventure Festival.
The Urban Hotel Group Ironman 70.3 competitors will start and finish before the Cairns Airport Ironman Cairns competitors, ensuring both races and all athletes will shine in their own right and give 70.3 competitors the chance to get back to the finish line to cheer on the full distance athletes.
If doing it solo is not your thing then grab your mates, co workers or family members and compete as a team.

The Event: Cairns Airport Ironman Cairns (3.8km Swim, 180km Ride, 42.2km Run)
Set in one of the world’s most iconic tropical locations, Ironman Cairns will take place on 3 June 2012.
It will feature a course memorable for the 3.8km swim in the warm waters of Tropical North Queensland, the 180km bike leg that travels up arguably the most scenic coastal roads in Australia towards Port Douglas and a 42.2km run that includes the Cairns boardwalk before finishing in the heart of the city of Cairns.
