The event again serves as the Ironman 70.3 Australian Age-Group Championship, with the top finishers in each age-group receiving an opportunity to enter the sold out Ironman events in Port Macquarie and Melbourne. More details on these invitations will be available at IronmanPortMacquarie.com in early January.
The event features twenty-five qualifying slots to the 2013 Ironman World Championship 70.3 in Lake Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as P-750 status for professional athletes.
