With the full house sign up on the IRONMAN 70.3, athletes’ only way into the Sunday 4 December event in Busselton is by entering GWM IRONMAN Western Australia.

Athletes from across Australia and around the world are well into their preparations for GWM IRONMAN 70.3 Western Australia, with the 4 December event now less than three months away.

Geoff Meyer, Managing Director of Oceania for The IRONMAN Group, said that the ongoing popularity of GWM IRONMAN 70.3 Western Australia was shown with the 2022 event selling out.

“Three months out from the return of GWM IRONMAN 70.3 Western Australia it’s great to be able to announce that the 2022 event has sold out,” said Meyer. “For those who still want to be a part of this iconic West Australian event the only way to be involved is to be on the IRONMAN start line. We encourage any athletes interested in racing GWM IRONMAN Western Australia to get their entry in quickly as they won’t last.

“It’s great to be able to welcome international athletes back to the event for the first time since 2019 and we’re set to have visitors from countries including New Zealand, Japan, the United States, Singapore and England with us in Busselton this December,” he said. “GWM IRONMAN 70.3 Western Australia is known as being flat and fast and we can’t wait to see athletes set personal best times as they return to the race.”

GWM IRONMAN 70.3 Western Australia will see athletes taking on a 1.9km swim, 90km ride and 21.1km run.
