PTO Partners with Spanish Triathlon Federation To Support Long Distance Championships

The Professional Triathletes Organisation today announced that it will provide a professional prize purse for the TRADEINN International Triathlon – 140.6INN which will be the 2021 Spanish Long Distance Triathlon Championship to be held in Girona on May 30th.
The PTO will provide an additional €12,000 to the existing prize purse of €30,000, along with media and marketing support to showcase the event and its athletes to the sporting public. PTO Professionals will also be able to earn points towards Collins Cup qualification in addition to possibly snagging a Captain’s Pick with a stand out performance.
The 3.8km sea swim will start and finish in Platja d´Aro followed by a 180km one lap bike with an elevation of 2100m and a 42.2 km run leg finishing with 4 laps along the Platja d´Aro promenade.
