This  video of the swim leg of the  race showcases the stunning environment that is Wollongong, NSW Australia.

The men’s Wollongong OTU Oceania Cup race was one by Tasmania and Wollongong training local and rising ITU star Jacob Birtwhistle. After being led out of the water by Zavier Gomez’s swim training partner, Norway’s Jorgen Gundersen Birtwhistle always had the race under control and it was just a matter of sit and wait for the time to break away on the run to take the win.

Germany’s Christopher Hettich was second with Canadian and summer Wollongong local Tyler Mislawchuk third.
