Ironman Australia 2012 Entry

As expected Ironman Australia 2012 has sold out. Based on when people started telling us they were getting in to the website it has taken around 5-10 mins to sell out.

We have been getting a lot of people contacting Trizone after missing out and venting frustrations at the server crashing. There is a field limit and a lot of compeitition. The frustration seems to be that the servers crashed and people aren’t sure whether they missed out because of that or not.

So… what are you going to do if you missed out? Next June will be the second Challenge Cairns.

In October this year Elite Energy is staging the first of their new Ultimate Triathlon races. This race is a 2km/120km/20km triathlon. It has the challenge of a long distance triathlon without the marathon which is what really hurts everyone and makes recovery a big mission.

Entries for both events have not opened yet.

Also the Port Macquarie 70.3 is yet to be announced and will most likely be on another date by the looks of it.

With the expected rush from people wanting to sign up to race in 2012 the servers have crashed. A 503 error occurs when the web server (running the Web site) is currently unable to handle the HTTP request due to a temporary overloading or maintenance of the server.

We have been getting a lot of emails asking if we know the link to entry as it is not showing on Ironman Australia’s website.

You will still need to keep refreshing though until the server comes back online.
