Elite Energy is launching their new ULTIMATE race distance at Forster the Australian head quarters for long distance triathlon. Forster is undoubtedly the motherland for triathletes and the ULTIMATE race course takes in some of triathlons most famous Swim – Bike – Run offerings. Forster is also famous for stunning beaches and a relaxed atmosphere making it an excellent short break escape with loads exceptionally good value accommodation at this time of the year.
The festival not only caters for the ULTIMATE athletes but also features Sprint and Enticer distance races along with an Ocean Swim on Saturday 15th. A feature of Saturdays triathlon events is the late start to allow a good sleep in or extra travel time.
The response to the launch of ULTIMATE has been HUGE according to race director Mark (Emo) Emerton. Emo and the team at Elite Energy are well known around Australia for producing festivals with their own unique and inviting atmosphere. You can be guaranteed that with the launch of ULTIMATE they will be lifting the bar to provide triathletes with a great weekend of racing.

Forster Keys – Hallowed Ground
Swim 2km: Course dependant on conditions on the day Forster Keys
Cycle 120km: 2 lap course with Northern end turnaround at King Georges and Lakes Way roundabout – Southern End turnaround at Bungwahl then return to Main Beach for T2 on Oyster Parade. Iconic bike course
Run 20km: 2 lap run along the stunning Forster waterways and beautiful shoreline parks crossing the bridge to Tuncurry and return.

- Forster Keys Sprint 750m 20K 5K Start 2 pm

Entering a Team
Participants can complete a team event whereby each participant completes 1 leg of the triathlon. When each participant completes their leg, the timing chip is given to the next person in the bike compound who attaches it to the next team member.
Teams are a superb way to taste the thrill of triathlon so get some friends together and get your entry in so you have the goal to aim at.
