Final Round of the triseries at Port Stephens and end of Season Party
Another triseries finish…

The Port Stephens triseries is shaping up to be the ‘End of Season’ party for NSW’s triathletes. With the NSW Club Champs taking place this weekend (a week before Ironman Australia) many people are not able to have their normal ‘post match and end of season’ blow out and party at Club Champs.

Taking place on the old NSW club champs course the day’s racing takes in Olympic, Sprint and Enticer distance triathlons. Already there are over 700 triathletes entered and with three weeks to go we could see almost 1000 taking part.

Elite Energy are hosting the end of season triseries and they are putting on a party after the day’s racing to celebrate a successful and exciting season. The Port Stephens round of the triseries is the grand final and the 2011 / 2012 Age Group Champions for the NSW triseries will be announced at the party. The Olympic, Sprint and Enticer champions will be crowned  along with the day’s podium place getters.

Port Stephens is a new round in the triseries and will become the finale for the triseries each year. Next season will see a more exciting competition take place with the Age Group champions in the NSW triseries receiving the cudos they deserve for taking part in the seven race series and being the best in their age group over the distances.
