Gold Coast Triathlon announces Shotz Sports Nutrition as official nutrition for the event

Established in 1995 the Australian owned and made ShotzShotz-Sports-Nutrition-Logo Sports Nutrition brand is proud to be associated with the Gold Coast Triathlon – Luke Harrop Memorial.

“Our focus is directed at ensuring the athlete receives the highest quality sports nutrition product that is easy to consume and gentle on the stomach even at high intensity. The product range is not sickly sweet or thick and pasty”, said Steph Griffiths owner of Shotz Sports Nutrition.

“We are under no illusion that everyone has varying tastes when it comes to food and fluid, particularly during activity when our senses are heightened and taste profiles change. We take great pride in assisting athletes who have been plagued with cramping and stomach issues, which are now a thing of the past. It is a great feeling and the very reason we are in this business. Helping athletes achieve their goals is our number one priority”.

The list of triathletes that choose to use Shotz Sports Nutrition is really quite staggering. Athletes such as Pete Jacobs, Christian Kemp, Clayton Fettell, Leon Griffin, Josh Rix, Josh Amberger, James Seear, Peter Kerr, Joey Lampe, Felicity Sheedy-Ryan and the list goes on.

“You can spend years trying to find a product that works exactly how you want it to. I did, in fact, spend years searching for a sports nutrition product that would provide the hydration and energy required to realise my dream of winning an Ironman World Championship. If there is any advice I can give, it would be to definitely try Shotz Sports Nutrition in your training and racing. There are no short cuts in life, but here is a short cut to making sure you don’t spend years looking for the right sports nutrition”, said Pete Jacobs – World Ironman Champion.

Shotz Sports Nutrition products will be available to sample at the Gold Coast Triathlon Expo just near registration on Saturday 13th April between 1pm and 4pm. Here is an opportunity to try the products the top professionals choose to use.
