As final preparations for the 2018 Ironman 70.3 World Championship took place on Friday in Nelson Mandela Bay, Port Elizabeth, the excitement continued to build with additional race week activities including the IRONKIDS ½ Mile and 1-Mile Fun Run. Race weekend begins tomorrow, Saturday, September 1 with the professional and age-group women. The professional and age-group men follow with race day for them on Sunday, September 2.

UTHANDO (LOVE): IRONMAN Foundation Ambassador Athletes, Volunteers and IRONMAN Staff visited one of four IRONMAN Foundation Legacy Projects in partnership with the local IRONMAN 4 the Kidz Charity Trust, the brand-new Early Birds Day Care Centre in Walmer creche.
