XTERRA today announced 2XU, one of the world’s most advanced technical apparel companies, has agreed upon a multi-year commitment to become the official compression partner of the XTERRA US Tri and Trail Tour.
The alliance allows 2XU, creators of the proprietary PWX compression fabric, and XTERRA to create the ultimate partnership: co-branded tri kits, cycling jerseys, and training apparel.
“We are thrilled to partner with XTERRA kicking off in 2021,” said 2XU Director of Brand Partnerships, Alex Mallen. “There is no doubt that the XTERRA community is a passionate one. We are looking forward to supporting each member of the XTERRA community throughout their athlete journey as they chase their finish lines.”
XTERRA will integrate 2XU into the XTERRA platform via traditional and digital media, social promotions, editorial content, podcasts, television, VR events, and through on-site activations at its signature events in the U.S. including XTERRA Oak Mountain, Beaver Creek, and the XTERRA USA and World Championships of trail running and off-road triathlon.
“We’re delighted to welcome 2XU to the XTERRA Family, they bring immense value to our brand and community,” said XTERRA World Tour president, Janet Clark. “What they’ve done in the compression space is remarkable, and who they are as people and a brand align synergistically with the XTERRA ethos to Live More and be your best.”
With the announcement XTERRA joins a stacked line-up of NBA, NFL and Olympic teams worldwide who train, perform and recover in 2XU.
