Leading female triathletes missing from this weekends Mooloolabah ITU World Cup triathlon on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. Emma Moffatt (broken Shoulder), Emma Snowsill, Felicity Abram , Annabel Luxford and up and coming Emma Jackson are all notably absent.
Leading female triathletes missing from this weekends Mooloolaba ITU World Cup triathlon on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. Emma Moffatt (broken Shoulder), Emma Snowsill (not at race fitness yet), Felicity Abram (recent virus has her underdone), Annabel Luxford (Shin) and up and coming Emma Jackson are all notably absent. Emma Jackson is resting in prepartation for the Sydney round of the ITU World Championship on April 11. Jackson won the Wellington round of the U23 ITU Oceania Championship on March 13, 2010.
Australia’s Courtney Atkinson is most likely out due to a severe virus. This leaves Javier Gomez and Brad Kahlefeldt as the main contenders.
In just the fourth day of entries being open for the 2010 Mooloolaba Triathlon, individual places have filled to capacity, despite an increase of 30 percent more available spaces than 2009, surpassing all previous records for participation in the event to be held from 26-28 March 2010.
