As with the men’s race Sydney’s Lisa Marangon has shown the importance of a fast swim and bike split in the Busselton Half Ironman. Whilst her half marathon was slower than 2nd place Kate Bevilaqua and 4th placed Nicole Ward her fast swim and bike was enough to keep her 5 minutes ahead of 2nd place.
