Rebekah Keat wins Challenge Cairns 2011

Rebekah Keat finished 12th overall and won the women’s Cairns Airport Challenge Cairns triathlon today ahead of a determined Michelle Mitchell. Mitchell came from behind to slowly pick off the girls in front of her. She looked fresh for the whole run. At one stage casually asking as she ran by ‘how far is the next woman in front of me?’. Next lap Michelle was in front of her. Carrie Lester was 3rd and Candice Hammond was 4th. Both Candice Hammond and Carrie Lester rode 5:11 with Belinda Granger
