Christie Sym was over 6mins down at the 47kms mark but has moved to within 5mins now. Belinda Granger did not look happy coming out of transition. She took a lot longer than the other lead women.

Jun 5, 2011 Rebekah Keat wins Challenge Cairns 2011 Rebekah Keat finished 12th overall and won the women’s Cairns Airport Challenge Cairns triathlon today ahead of a determined Michelle Mitchell. Mitchell came from behind to slowly pick off the girls in front of her. She looked fresh for the whole run. At one stage casually asking as she ran by ‘how far is the next woman in front of me?’.
