BPM Athlete Management (“BAM”) is pleased to announce the signing of a new sponsorship agreement with Felt Bicycles (“Felt”) for talented Australian triathlete, Joshua Amberger. The multiyear deal has been signed following a breakthrough year for Amberger where he continued his trajectory towards becoming one of the world’s leading non drafting triathletes.

Amberger will ride the 2013 Felt DA frame set series in 2013 and 2014 as he targets races across the globe in his quest for stronger results in the coming years with an emphasis on 5150 and ironman 70.3 races. Amberger’s top 10 results in both the Ironman 70.3 world championships and the famous Hy Vee 5150 in 2012 along with a string of high quality podium results has him on close by many in the triathlon world. Felt will provide the Australian athlete with the latest in bike frame technology along with advice and expertise in support of his professional triathlon career.

With over 20 years in the business, Felt has become one of the world’s most respected bike manufacturers with a long list of the world’s leading athletes on its roster. Amberger is the latest leading Australian triathlete to be sponsored by Felt following the likes of some of the sport’s stars including Craig Walton, Michellie Jones, Emma Snowsill and of course 2010 Ironman World Champion, Mirinda Carfrae.

For Amberger, this will be an important step in his professional career. “To me, being professional is all about being a student of the sport. I’ve done my research, and I have confidence in knowing that

Felt is among the most respected and trusted names in the business. I’ve followed and learnt from the many champions who’ve ridden Felt, from De Boom to Walton, Snowsill to Carfrae, and I look forward to my journey with Felt, and continuing the legacy of their champions.”

“We are thrilled to have Josh on our bikes”, said Felt Bicycles’ company founder and namesake, Jim Felt. “We have always done our best to ID and nurture emerging talent and in Josh we feel we have somebody special. We are very excited to get going.”
